At a Polish restaurant that looked out over Lake Michigan -- beautiful!

When we went to Canada this summer, we took the opportunity to swing by a high school friend of mine's place in Zeeland, Michigan and spend the weekend. We had flown into Detroit, so on the way home from the lake in Canada we drove along the coast of Lake Michigan to Tami's house. We stopped at a little Polish restaurant called Legs Inn for lunch that looked out over the lake. It had beautiful gardens and unique woodwork in the lobby of the Inn. We then continued down the coast through the Tunnel of Trees which is exactly what the name implies. It was a gorgeous drive -- well worth the extra time it took. We then spent the rest of the weekend before we had to return to Detroit with Tami and her family. They were wonderful hosts! The kids had a super time playing together, fishing, taking a boat ride, and going on a nature hike while Tami and I had a great time catching up. I'm so glad so had this chance to get together with her and her family. It was the perfect end to our vacation.
